David loved the nature with birds being a particular interest. Within the world of birds, swifts were surely his favourite, verging on an obsession! 7 years after installing a swift box under the eaves they finally nested; a proud moment. Dad supported my interest in birds and, as a boy, we shared many hours travelling around East Anglia searching for and learning about birds. Treasured memories, unrepeatable experiences. In this picture, me and Dad have spotted a Cirl Bunting, his final lifer.
