My wonderful husband Gilbert Taylor (Gilby), was a physicist & software engineer – but equally important was his dedication to nature conservation, through a number of organisations. Gilby was diagnosed with Primary Progressive MS at age 50 which robbed him of his health and ability to walk so it was a great joy to him to spend the last years of his life enjoying the birds in our Dartmoor garden; he was a keen contributor to BTO’s Garden Bird Watch. A kind, erudite and gentle man - much missed!
